How to use a mock test

Choose a time when you can work through the paper without looking up answers. The timer gives you practice managing the 45-minute limit. After you finish, check both your total score and your values result: 15 correct answers out of 20 is not a pass if you miss any of the five values questions.

Read the explanation for each mistake before trying another paper. Our guide to reviewing mock-test mistakes helps you turn a score into a focused revision plan. A practice result shows how you performed on that paper; it cannot guarantee your result in the government test.

Choose your next study step

For official study materials and other free preparation options, see our free study resource comparison. If one subject keeps causing mistakes, switch to practice by topic before another timed mock. Give the Australian values study guide particular attention, even when your overall score is high.

These are original practice questions based on Australian Citizenship: Our Common Bond, not the official or live exam questions. Read our sources and methodology for how the material is prepared and checked.
