Privacy and analytics

Information needed to run the service

We use your account email to sign you in and provide access to your subscription. Practice answers and progress are saved on your device and synced to your account when you sign in. If you enter your name and email to see your free-test score and answers, we store those details together with the test source and score. One submission opens the score, all answers and explanations, and chapter breakdown without creating an account. Those details are not sent to Google Analytics.

Supabase supports accounts and saved data. Stripe handles checkout and subscription billing; payment card details are entered with Stripe. Contact-form messages are used to respond to your enquiry. Our hosting and service providers also process the technical information needed to operate and protect the service.

Essential storage

Browser storage keeps your sign-in session, practice progress, interrupted tests, preferences and analytics choice. It also remembers that you completed the name and email form so you can see scores and answers on later free tests without entering your details again in that browser. These functions work whether you accept or reject analytics. Clearing browser data can remove local progress, preferences and this remembered form completion; it does not delete the details already stored with us.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics loads only after you choose “Accept analytics”. It helps us understand page visits, free-test starts and completions, registrations and checkout. With consent, we record an initial purchase when our server confirms payment and you return to the website; this is not a complete billing record.

Analytics uses browser identifiers and device information. We send only broad page paths and selected events. We do not send names, email addresses, account IDs, answers, scores, authentication tokens or URL query strings. Purchase events contain the currency, amount and a one-way transaction reference to prevent duplicate counting. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled.

Analytics cookies are set to expire after 30 days. Your choice stays in this browser until you change it or clear storage. Use “Analytics settings” at the bottom of any page to change your choice. Rejecting analytics stops future collection and removes the Google Analytics cookies we can access; it does not delete data previously received by Google.

Google processes analytics information under its Privacy Policy, including on servers outside Australia.

Questions and deletion requests

Use our contact form to ask about your information or request deletion of your account or free test details. Include enough information for us to identify the record. We may need to verify the request and retain records needed for billing or other required purposes.

Privacy

May we use Google Analytics cookies to understand page visits and use of free tests, sign-up and checkout? We don't send your name, email, answers or scores. Your choice won't affect your access. Privacy details
