Should people in Australia follow the law even if no one is watching?
The real test is set by the Department of Home Affairs. Every AusCitizenReady mock follows the same rules, so nothing surprises you on the day.
The one rule that catches people: all five Australian values questions must be correct — 19/20 with one values slip is a fail. Every AusCitizenReady mock trains that rule until it can't catch you. Every question is written from the official study booklet, Australian Citizenship: Our Common Bond — the only source the real test draws from.

Read guideNo. AusCitizenReady is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with the Department of Home Affairs. The real test is free and taken at a Home Affairs appointment. We prepare you for it using the same official study booklet, Australian Citizenship: Our Common Bond.
20 multiple-choice questions in 45 minutes, in English, on a computer. You need at least 15 of 20 correct (75%) AND all 5 Australian values questions correct. Miss one values question and you fail, even with 19/20.
You can re-sit — there is no extra government fee, and you can usually re-sit quickly. Home Affairs may refuse your application if you don't pass after three appointments, so it pays to walk in ready.
